Caitlin Smith is a meek and timid housewife. Her husband no longer touches her, her friends ignore her, her neighbors laugh at her, and her family thinks she's useless. But all that changes when her husband brings home a mysterious book. Gradually, innocent and kind Caitlin is corrupted into something dark and cruel, and those that wronged her will bow before her.
